Find a Sponsor

LFL Steward & Sponsor Role

Your job as the STEWARD is to find a SPONSOR for your new Little Free Library (LFL). That can be a church, community center, park or an area were you would like to locate your new LFL. It is important that the steward takes over the responsibility of implementing the LFL and maintaining it. You as the steward are the main point of contact for the sponsor and are the helping hands throughout the process and afterwards if needed.

DIY Little Free Library

Now is the time to get creative! There are a lot of opportunities for you to order a kit, which you can assemble yourself or you find an object that you can transform into a LFL. More details about size and regulations can be found on the LFL website.

Buy a Little Free Library

For those of you who would rather purchase a finished LFL, you can find resources and links on the internet.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Bringing the community together and introducing the new LFL is a key element for the success of the LFL. Organize a ribbon cutting ceremony and ask all attendees to bring a book to include in the new community LFL. Pictures can be used for social media or other announcement boards. C.A.R.E. will help you with organizing your ceremony.

Become a STEWARD

You want to become a STEWARD for a C.A.R.E. Little Free Library? Wonderful, we cannot wait to get in touch and discuss next steps. Please feel free to email us at info@care1stl.org.
